Why Paul Little is switching from property to angel investing

Melbourne billionaire Paul Little is ramping-up his switch from investing in property to early stage start-ups after identifying a gap in the market because most of the money is pouring into later stage venture capital.

A report from LaunchVic found investment in seed-stage deals dived from $280 million two years ago to less than $90 million last year, despite venture capital and private equity funds hitting a record $30 billion last financial year.
